How I Found My Sweet Spot as a Musician

j-magic — When I was a boy I loved magic. I learned to be a magician to perform tricks for kids.

j-guitar — I got a guitar for my 16th bday and music became my magic. I wrote songs and played at church. The song was sacred.

j-at-desk — I went to college and got a job working at a computer.

j-coffeeshop — At night I played music in coffee shops and bars but the music got lost, the words unheard.

j-creek — As I was playing guitar by the creek one morning it hit me: have people gather there by the water when the weather is perfect for a gorgeous gig in this sweet spot.

j-by-the-creek — So I did, and people gathered around the creek as the sun was setting at the magic hour and it was beautiful.

Now I’m on a mission to gather people down by the water when the weather is just right to share the magic of sweet songs and gorgeous natural spaces together.
