Here is an amazing song written by Katie F., inspired by Elie Weisel’s book “Night,” about the holocaust.
Libby showed me (and uploaded this picture of) the wonderful Walt Scale. I am a huge Walt Whitman fan and love to hate Disney, so I will be reffering to commercialized things in terms of Walts from now on.
Harry and I sing and plays Raffi’s classic.
The SXSW wave has crashed on the shores of Town Lake. I had a great time this year biking around to the staggering amount of free shows available. I never knew how much could be seen without a wristband or paying even one cover charge. I had a geeky fun time taking pics and, for the first time, using my phone and audioblog service to record peices of shows. The quality is so poor as to be of very questionable value, but at least for me, they are ways to remember, and hopefully give some sort of crude idea of what went on. Standout favorites of mine were Belle and Sebastian and Femi Kuti.
